how to start diet and weight loss plan?

Well im 6’1 250 pounds. I got really out of shape and need a diet or plan that will work to lose weight and gain energy. I also need an exercise plan as far as how much do i walk/run and certain exercises that will help. I thank all of you for your answers and hep!
