Pros and cons of a vegetarian diet?
Pros:
-You learn flavors you never knew about
-You get to explore because you have no other choice
-The animals, the planet, and your health
-Less change of heart disease and cancers
-Easier to lose weight when it’s appropriate
-Your forced to learn about the vitamins and minerals your body needs. (This comes in handy)
Cons:
-You need to read ingredients on everything you eat (which you should do anyways)
-You often don’t know foods you eat contain animal derivatives(Example: rennet is a baby calves stomach) It’s easy to miss.
-Hard to eat out
-Food is always suspicious
-You need to get all your minerals and vitamins from other sources(iron is a biggie here)
-You wouldn’t notice but a lot of the products you use in an everyday life contain animals bones, remains, etc. You learn this as you go along.
