Diabetes Diet Receipes
Boy this is a hard one!. He can have turkey, chicken, beef, & fish no bigger than the size of a deck of cards.
1 cup of steamed vegetables- green beans, broccoli, cauliflower, mixed,okra,
corn and potatoes are starches like like rice & pasta..
Small potatoe with diet butter. ( no sour cream or cheese)
Any size Salad WITHOUT croutons, bacon bits, cheese and with 1 teasp. Of dressing.
Dessert – is often very limited. Fresh fruit or a homemade Sugar Free pie. The serving has to be no more than 1 finger width wide.
Beverage – Limit 1 Diet Soda only per day. ( no reg. Soda)
Exercise daily like walking 30 minutes for 3 weeks and up it to 1 hr. After that . This will lower his blood sugar =levels, and will make him feel so good.
Drink lots and lots of water to flush out salt or sodium in body.
