I’m average but these people are extra-extra-fitness-buffs (men & women) with their barely ‘no-fat’ bodies. We have 3 gyms and they use all of them. I went a few times: for example, I was doing a slow jog on the treadmill, then these two guys came on both sides and started sprinting next to me. It really is intimidating. You have to exercise to burn excess calories, cycling, walking, running, rowing are all good calorie burners, but the key is length of time constant rather than a short burst,
the same amount of calories are burned walking a mile as running one, because the exercise goes on for longer, although at lower intensity, so a half hour walk is better than a five minute run!

I try ed to start a detox diet today for a week – all i was going to have was apples and drink water with lemon squeezed in it.
I gave in at dinner time and had a bowl of baked beans with whole grain bread (some kind of really good bread for woman) and some muesli with soy milk. – along with 10 km on my exercise bike machine.

So I’m trying to get more healthy. I have eating problem and I want it to stop. I hate the feeling of being full. I want to find a work out plan that I can do at home on my own time. I already take 2 mile longs walks but i am going to start to walk 4-5 miles a day. I don’t run but i walk really fast. I ve been working out with my husband for the last 2 weeks. we are been doing crunchs and push ups together, and also we have been working out using the swiss ball. He does like 30 crunchs non stop and expects from me to do the same,the push ups he does countless and I stop at 5, I just can’t do much, Im not even flexible to do what normal girls do lol. My question is are girls and boys supposed to do the same workouts for abs?? boys need a huge six packs while girls need just flat abs.

I have a friend who detoxes every couple of months and she looks and feels great because of it. I eat a lot of processed foods and junk and would love to do something like just eat fruit and veg for a week, but I was hoping for some advice, because I’m worried it actually wouldn’t be safe to deprive myself of meat and sugar and things I’m used to – or am I just paranoid?
Also, does anyone have any menu suggestions, i.e. what to eat and how often?
